    Join us as we investigate the gender imbalance in theatre through a celebration and exploration of the female voice. The Festival includes a short run of for colored girls, (Re)Acts, potluck readings, and a culminating symposium.

    Potluck #1 – Is there a female dramaturgy?
    Using (Re)Acts: "Sex on the Brain" as a jumping off point, we discuss this question and the idea of what specific point of view female writers bring to theatre.

    Potluck #2 – What are we missing out on?
    Readings of plays by women we love, but aren’t getting produced and a discussion on the why's and consequences. Bring some food to share!
